Meet Archie the brown bear and his human — fishing partner Veronika Dichka , they enjoy spending their time fishing in a forest lake together.
Archie was rescued from a safari park two years ago, and since he cannot be released back into the wild, Veronika takes care of him, like a pet.
Their tender relationship has been captured by a photographer showing the pair cherishing their time together while on a fishing boat.
Photos show them sitting together waiting for fish and even at one point happily hugging each other.
Veronika sits with her fishing rod in hand waiting for any fish to take the bait while Archie is sitting next to her.
Veronika said: “He sees me as a member of his family, we share food, [he] sleeps in my arms when afraid, and hides behind me.”
“We rescued him from the safari park but can’t release him into the wild as he has lived in captivity his whole life.”
“Archie spends every day with us and is madly in love with water. He loves it very much when I take him to new places, so this shooting was a pleasure for him!”
