Rick Kalinowski is a creative squirrel lover who has made headlines after creating a little eating spot for the local squirrels.
Rick just wanted a way to show his love to all the squirrels that call his backyard home.
So he found some wood and designed a mini picnic table for them to enjoy their food on, he nailed it to his fence.
Once completed, he also laid out a spread of nuts to attract the squirrels to the tiny picnic table.
It didn’t long for the first guest to arrive, attracted by the food but stayed for the bench. I think it’s safe to say the squirrel enjoyed it!
The squirrels now visit the table twice a day for their food, and also to relax on the picnic bench just like a human.
“I really believe they love it,’ Kalinowski told The Dodo.
Not only is the table great for the squirrels, but Rick also placed it right outside the window where he has his morning coffee, so he and the squirrel can share the moment together.
“I appreciate them and they appreciate me,” Kalinowski said.
